Big Business

*Spoilers Ahead, Duh*

Alright so I know we said that we wrote Gladiator like a month and a half after we watched it, but, oops, we did it again (Free Britney!). This time it was one of Marrakech’s favorite childhood movies; Big Business. Okay, bear with us as we recount with our incredibly fuzzy memories.

The movie opens up with the chaos of two pregnancies in rural West Virginia, long sequence short; both families end up with one of each set of twins, they also all get named Rose or Sadie, not our fault they made it so confusing. Anyhow, flash forward 40 years into each of these babies' lives…

The Ratliff Twins: These girls are our yee haw babes from rural West Virginia. Sadie (aka singer Sadie) is a singer who is set on living in New York City, and Rose is happy with her life and career where they are.

The Shelton Twins: In New York, Sadie (aka shady Sadie) is very oriented on her career and doesn't invest time with her family, while Rose is a somewhat neurotic lady who would prefer to live outside the big city.

Alright, now that we’ve established the ladies, we bump forward to when they all end up in New York City. For the next ⅖ of the movie, they spend their time being swept in and out of each other's lives that aren’t their own. They switch men many times and the audience gets to enjoy some great comedy. While this is going on Rose from West Virginia is trying to fight the man and take back Hollowmade from, TBH we don’t remember but, it seems like consumerism. We should mention that shady Sadie is the one spearheading this consumerism ploy to buy Hollowmade. As such Rose, the one who loves Hollowmade and lives out there is protesting and picking a fight with Sadie's company. Eventually, the plot culminates into the final sequence of events where all the sisters meet each other in the bathroom and end up locking the shady Sadie in a closet and sending the singer Sadie pretending to be her. The end of the movie wraps up with each of these lovely ladies getting a nice piece of arm candy on the stroll out of their conference building.

In the end, this took up a fat minute to review, our B… However, that is not due to this film’s lack of enjoyment on our end. Overall our suggestion is if you want a good, lighthearted laugh, served with a little romance on the side, yeehaw with your cosmo, this is the movie for you.

Score: 13/20
